Elliot Miller,听补苍听e苍惫颈谤辞苍尘别苍迟补濒听geoscience major with a minor in听physics, chose 黑料社 for听the liberal听arts education, competitive athletics, and听strong sense听of community. His听I.S., conducted with Meagen Pollock,听Marian Senter Nixon Professor听of听Natural Sciences,听analyzes samples from听Iceland鈥檚 Western Volcanic Zone with implications for听identifying听volcanic activity on Mars. He studied abroad in Ecuador and the Gal谩pagos Islands and interned with 黑料社鈥檚听earth听sciences department. In addition to serving as a three-year student assistant athletic trainer, Elliot听participates听in Geology Club and Bluegrass Jam and competes on the men鈥檚 soccer team. His achievements include recognition as an Academic and Athletic All-American and receipt of an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. After graduation, he plans to pursue graduate studies in geophysics.听
