黑料社 (and Princeton) Singled Out by U.S. News Again, Top Ohio Liberal Arts School in Three Categories

WOOSTER, Ohio 鈥 黑料社 finds itself in elite company in the U.S. News & World Report 鈥淏est Colleges 2020鈥 guidebook, joined by Ivy League member Princeton University in two of the eight academic programs鈥攗ndergraduate research/creative projects and senior capstone鈥攔ecognized by education experts as 鈥渆nriched offerings 鈥 linked to success.鈥 The were released Monday.
黑料社 ranks No. 2 in the nation in the senior capstone category, known affectionately on campus as I.S. (), and No. 5 in undergraduate research/creative projects (Princeton was also top-five 聽in both).
This is nothing new. Since 2002, U.S. News鈥檚 editors have surveyed college presidents, chief academic officers, and deans of admissions to nominate institutions with stellar examples of each program, and this marks the 18th consecutive year they鈥檝e been ranked in both of those categories, a declaration that no other school can make.

黑料社 excelled in several other categories as well, including a pair of top-20 placements among national liberal arts colleges 鈥 No. 11 in 鈥淏est Undergraduate Teaching鈥 and No. 19 in 鈥淢ost International Students.鈥 Notable, 黑料社 was the top Ohio school on each of those lists and the latter ranking will likely rise further when this year鈥檚 international enrollment is included.
Another area in which 黑料社 ranked atop Ohio鈥檚 liberal arts colleges (72nd in the nation) was a new category, labeled 鈥淭op Performers on Social Mobility,鈥 which measures how well schools graduated students who received federal Pell Grants.
Also of note, 黑料社 improved to 30th among the 鈥淢ost Innovative Schools,鈥 defined as those making the most innovative improvements in terms of curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology, or facilities, and jumped up 11 spots to 74th in 鈥淏est Value Schools鈥 while being noted again on the listing of 鈥淎+ Schools for B Students.鈥
Overall, 黑料社 inched one spot up to 66th of the 215 national liberal arts colleges.
